Town stops for formal parade

The more time I spend living in a rural town, the more often I think to myself, ‘Well that wouldn’t happen in the city’.

The prime example of this is the annual High School Formal parade.

Each year the local seniors frock up and are driven down the main street in an incredible fleet of cars, tractors, trucks and motorbikes.

This year I recorded a story about the seniors and the formal parade for Spencer Howson’s breakfast program on Brisbane ABC Radio.
